I just want to say how much i enjoyed this album from the
maestro himself.It is a fantastic album and the music is just so haunting
it leaves you with goosebumps all over.I love maidens kiss particularly.I
cant wait for the third part of this trilogy.I urge everyone to buy this
great music to chill out to.

A fantastic album and a huge step forward from Clan. Med's Celtic series was in full flow by now and this album has wonderful authentic melodies but even better takes on the air of an "audio-movie" by use of some fantastic sould effects. In many ways a predecessor of Chronicles - a Must Have album for all lovers of Med's Celtic style!

I have been a fan of Medwyn Goodall's music for long enough now to be certain that as long as an album has his name on it I can buy it without even needing to listen to it first, as I already know I will love it. The Scroll, however, remains my all-time favourite.
If, for some bizarre reason logical only to yourself, you have decided to only ever buy one album of Celtic music in your whole lifetime, do yourself a huge favour and make it The Scroll. Forget Clannad. Don't even bother with Enya. Both are mere pretenders when their works are compared to the musical genius of Medwyn's celtic masterpiece. If Maiden's Kiss is not the most beautiful piece of music you have ever heard in your life then you have a very cold heart indeed, and if rousing tunes like The Tempest do not fill you with an urge to leap up and attempt to 'Riverdance' (we-ell....okay then, at the very least to start tapping your toes!) then you need more joy in your life, full stop. And you can get it, very simply. Just buy this album - and prepare to be swept away.
