The music of Merlin comes to stir the heart and awaken our memories, and finds a voice to soothe our soul. With its ancient instrumentation, this music ranges from gentle, Floating harmonies to enticing moods of well-being and joy, from moments of transcendental beauty to breathtaking and wondrous special effects.
A timeless classic. The continuation of the DRUID trilogy. The ancient ways, the pagan styled music. A long standing best seller.
The second part of a trilogy known as the DRUID TRILOGY. See also - DRUID and also EXCALIBUR. |

The first time I ever heard about you Medwyn was in 1992 when a healer presented your music by playing it when doing her job as a healer.
From that moment I knew, and have experienced, what a excellent "tool" (if I may say so) your music is, especially when meditate or wanting to relax.
I have been listen to almost all other albums here, either by the clips you so kindly let us "right click and save" or by having some of the albums and I say as all the others...You are the best music producer I ever have heard in this so called New Age area. Thanks!...and keep up the good work. :-))
Most kindly regards...Gunilla.

The first album I ever bought and still my favourite. It was roughly 17/18 years ago when I walked into a Music shop in Penzance and heard Merlin playing in the background. I was truly inspired - especially with the Keith English artwork to enhance the experience! Unfortunatley the shop is no more in Penzance, but I still listen and buy Medwyn's music to this day, and I find it always reaches a very deep place within me. Cornwall has always been a mystical, magic place to me, (especially St. Michael's Mount), and Medwyn seems to take this feeling and conjure it into sound like nothing I've heard before. Keep up this amazing work, and I hope to be buying The Sorcerer's Daughter very soon ! xx

The best Medwyn Goodall album I've heard to date. I'm pleased to have found some music I really love! Not bad for an 11 year old eh?

This is without a doubt my ultimate favourite of ALL time EVER! I have had this over 12 years! I know every single second of this albumn inside out! It is absolutley fantastic!
I worked at a wedding once, and the bride and groom had it in the background when the were signing the register, and after the ceromony, I went up and said...I love Medwyn Goodall too - isnt Merlin fantastic! They loved it too - but obviously wasn't as excited as me! lol. (especially on their big day - i think they had other things to think about)
SUPURB ALBUM!! EXCELLENT!! THANK YOU MEDWYN

This is my all time favorite album out of the many that Medwyn has produced. The haunting sounds that eminate from this music interwoven with the mystery and magic that is cacooned within the mythology of the Merlin legend inspired me to write a book. Thank you Medwyn. I will be eternally graeteful to you for providing the focus that started me off in my writing career.

A beautiful compilation, very moving, full of mystery and magic - as you'd expect. It paints pictures in your mind - track 2, Magic Potions - has to be my favourite on this CD

This is a truly wonderful album, I purchased my original copy on casette in about 1991 & it evokes great memories from that time. I find it is perfect background music for meditation & ritual for those who do not live in entirely peaceful places. I think it will always be my favourite album of this genre- thank you! x

This album is fantastic! Myrrdin is so wonderful, beautiful and soothing, yet arcane and let's you think of a wizened old Celt.
The Lady of the Lake instanteously brings you to the lake where excalibur was spawned...
